Do we possess the freedom of choice? Absolutely.

However, do we, have a duty to speak out against those choices that are morally wrong and contrary to Scripture?

Do we not speak out against adultery? Lying? Stealing? Homicide? Rape? Physical abuse?

For many who have experienced an abortion, life can be a struggle to bear up under grief, despair, and condemnation. Honoring the sanctity of life provides the catalyst for hope, forgiveness, and freedom. The vast majority of women are unaware of precisely what they are doing when they choose to undergo an abortion. They are utterly unaware that their child has fingers, toes, a heartbeat, and brain waves.

From beginning to end, Scripture declares the value of the human being, born and unborn alike. We are not merely human beings. We are human beings created in the image of GOD. We are creatures who possess intrinsic value. We are created.

If human beings are not intrinsically valuable at conception, then there is nothing to instill intrinsic value in us at any point thereafter… To deny intrinsic value at conception is to assert that any value later attributed to the individual must have been gained through means of his own making.

If abortion does not take the life of a human being, meaning, if the unborn are not human, then there is no reason, ever, to oppose abortion.
